WEEK 1: BREAKING GROUND
Breaking Ground operates nearly 4,000 units of housing through New York and Connecticut. They work to provide supportive housing for those in need, as well as providing programs and services for those experiencing homelessness. See the great work they do and consider making a donation in honor of Jake Green, pictured above, a much loved Man in Park Slope, who passed away in October.
WEEK 2: NEW YORK CARES
Everyone deserves to stay warm - it is a basic human need. New York Cares Coat drive helps to ensure that everyone has a good winter coat so that they can focus on keeping on! There are many ways to make a contribution.
WEEK 3: THE ALY FORNEY CENTER
LGBTQ+ youth comprise about 40% of the homeless youth population in New York City. The Aly Forney Center is committed to protecting LGBTQ youth from the harms of homelessness and to provide them with the tools they need to live independently.
